Talofa lava Family,

I hope this letter finds you all well. Its great to hear that Taft is really enjoying singing, it is a talent that can come in useful in the future. I actually sing a lot these days also, im constantly surrounded by Polynesians and they love to sing. so we are basically singing all the time. So Keana, you decided to drop pre calc. I cant say that i blame you... I did the same thing. hahah Its weird to think it is already the end of you first term, and that I have already been here for five weeks. That's such a long time!!!

I wouldn't say that i'm getting restless... okay maybe a little bit. haha My Samoan is very broken, but its getting better. This week was very good for me. I went into a lesson to teach a lesson, and I took zero notes in with me. I was able to to say almost everything that I wanted to say. My sentence structure wasn't perfect, but my teach said that is was defiantly understandable. It gave me hope that I will actually be able to speak the language. I am also glad that I want to draw stuff... hahaha sure i can send you some, when I get the opportunity to actually draw something. I got the camera yesterday. Thank you so much for that!!! Do you know what was wrong with the last one? Did you have to pay for the new one? Or did you just do an exchange?

I got the packages from Tannen, Thank you for all the stuff! I have never seen Three dozen brownies vanish so fast. hahaha I shared them with my whole zone. Our zone is Huge by the way, It includes all of the Polynesian islands and we got about twenty Tongans this last week, so we have about 80-90 missionaries in our zone. I love the Polynesians, they are so nice and have such a friendly sense of humor.

Thank you for your question Dad, its really cool that you said that because its almost exactly what a speaker at our devotional said on Tuesday. Its also something that i have been pondering for the past few days. this week has been wonderful for me, I have spent a lot of time studying the scriptures, and I have just felt the spirit so strongly the past few days. I can feel it when I teach my Investigators and when i'm studying and praying. this week has defiantly been my favorite week in the MTC. I just feel good all the time.

I spend my whole hour writing you guys... and they are really short, so that just shows you how slow of a typer I am. haha

I hope you are all doing well
